Management
The Management team is committed to protecting public health and the environment through effective and efficient collection and treatment of the community’s wastewater. Management achieves those objectives by: (1) recognizing that its most valuable asset is its employees, (2) ensuring the safety and health of its employees, (3) being cost effective and fiscally responsible with the management of funds, (4) properly planning for current and future capacity and water quality demand for wastewater service, (5) fairly assessing and collecting user and impact fees that fully cover the cost of operating, maintaining and growing the system and (6) providing excellent customer service.
FINANCE
The finance staff at SBWRD is committed to serving you, our customer. If you have a question or a problem, please feel free to call or e-mail one of our staff. TREATMENT
The treatment staff is responsible for operating the East Canyon and Silver Creek Wastewater Treatment Facilities. These facilities treat the wastewater mechanically, biologically, and chemically so that it can be returned to the adjacent waterways. Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all the equipment associated with this process. These efforts help ensure the health and safety of the people and environment of the Snyderville Basin. MAINTENANCE
Our maintenance staff assures our assets are operating at peak levels of service. They are highly trained and skilled operators that clean, repair, protect and construct the collections system. By using closed circuit television, telemetry and other technologies we evaluate each asset’s service level and assign a plan to it. Through continued maintenance, rehabilitation or replacement every asset in the collections system is expected to give the full service life to the community.
ENGINEERING
The engineering staff is committed to providing a well-designed and constructed wastewater collection system for our customers. We strive to serve the needs of our customers by establishing and implementing appropriate design and construction standards and specifications, providing timely and efficient reviews and inspections, and maintaining accurate records of the wastewater system.
